Blood Sugar Management and Monitoring

Patients are instructed on proper methods for managing and monitoring blood sugar levels.

Insulin and Oral Medications

Patients are educated about diabetes medications and managing insulin regimens.

Nutrition Counseling and Meal Planning

A registered dietician assists patients in meal preparation.  Each patient will receive a structured meal plan, plus instruction for appropriate meal selections.

Some diabetics experience no symptoms.  Discuss your risk of developing diabetes with your physician. Even if you're not at high risk, all persons over age 40 should get an annual blood sugar test to screen for diabetes.
